My Project
My students are enthusiastic, curious, and active pre-K students. They live in a high-poverty and transient military area. Our public prekindergarten program is specifically designed and funded for children who are at risk.
I would like to give my students a fish tank so I can enhance our science instruction with living creatures they can observe on a daily basis.
My students will learn about the differences between living and non-living things, as we compare fish and other living and nonliving things throughout our Creative Curriculum studies. My students will also learn responsibility as they learn to care for the fish. Students will take turns feeding the fish and helping the teacher clean the tank.
