I will love to open up their minds to the water habitat of an aquarium and the scientific world of news.
They are a diverse population of students.
We have 57.7% of our students on free/reduced meals. Classes are comprised of different learning styles, races and backgrounds.
We are a "Leader in Me" which incorporates the 7 habits of Steven Covey.
We are a project-based learning school which develops their critical thinking and problem-based learning.
Our students are energetic and love coming to school everyday with a passion for new learning. We build a warm, friendly and positive school community.
My Project
My students do not have the opportunity to have a pet, so that is why
I want to have a fish aquarium. Also, the science magazine will open their world to become more like a scientist with the knowledge that they will learn from it.
We are focusing more this school year on nonfiction reading which the science magazine will be a part of.
I don't have a money tree in my backyard!
