My Students
My students are outgoing, hardworking, motivated and dedicated to education. They are from a small rural community that is like family.
Agriculture and Environmental Science are a large part of their everyday lives.
My agriculture science classes are a blend of student in different educational levels and age ranges. The mass of the student body is from lower income families and are on free or reduced lunch program. They are hands on learners at love to read, learn, question and explore.
My Project
Having gold fish tanks will benefit all my students and all my classes. It will allow all my students to understand ecosystems and the environment. As well as care and understanding for aquatic animals.
Having these live ecosystem gold fish tanks with fish in the classroom will allow all my students to see growth, life stages and have an understanding of a live, working ecosystem.
These tanks and fish will enable my students to have hands on setup, as well as maintaining and caring for the fish and system. Visual aids and hands on labs are what make classes interesting and retainable for my students.
