First Year Teaching

My Project

As I embark on my first year in education with Kindergarten students, I want to ensure I have a strong start to my first day with basic classroom supplies.

A teacher who is full of excitement and love for her students can make all the difference in their lives.

During my first year, I want to ensure my students have a folder for communication between myself and their families, glue sticks for school/art work, and antiviral Kleenex my students faces clean. I am requesting "my first pencils" (thicker pencils), for better control and they will promote a more natural grip for my students, as recognized essential by experts in early learning handwriting.

I will use the laminator to preserve the longevity of items I place on the wall for the year. The scissors, trimmer, staple remover, tape, and transfer paper will help me decorate the classroom year round. I will use the storage containers to store my materials.
