Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a brand new teacher, straight out of UCLA's Teacher Education Program, and my future 2nd grade classroom is currently a total blank slate.
I'm so excited to meet my first class of students, and I want them to feel excited and comfortable when they enter the classroom for the first time.
This means seeing materials like crayons and markers on the shelves, and a hundred's chart and a calendar on the wall. They deserve a learning environment that sets them up for real success in 2nd grade.
