First Year Teacher's Safe and Inclusive Classroom Setup!

My Students

This will be my first year teaching! My students are freshman and juniors coming from a wide variety of environments with a sizable portion of them coming from homes below the poverty line. This project would help provide a safe and inclusive environment for my students each and every day they are at school!

My Project

This project has been created to help ensure that I am able to supply a classroom for my students, as a first-year teacher, that is welcoming, safe, and warm (as well as incentivizing with candy) :) Most of these products will not be directly benefitting the students as they are meant to complete my organizational capacity and classroom atmosphere. However, by creating a classroom that is well-organized, colorful, and rewarding, my students will feel secure in there and be better able to concentrate on the material I'll be teaching rather than being distracted by clutter or bored by lack of decorations. I want my students to have at least one safe spot in their life, and hopefully I can make Room 233 feel that way! :)
