Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help me fulfill all my students’ needs throughout the school year. My students have mild to moderate Autism. They are still learning their shapes, time, money, reading, writing, and most importantly, how to control and regulate their emotions. I have selected these items because I know they will create a meaningful and engaging learning experiences for my students. The carpet creates comfortable space for learning, especially during circle time, morning meetings, and whole group instruction. The individual smiley faces serve as a students spot, this will promote learning for clear boundries and personal space between students. The bookshelves will store all of our books that I have purchased, that is easily accessible for independent reading time. We are eager to learn and grow. We are so thankful for all the love and support. I am so excited to start my teaching journey with all your help!
