My Project

My name is Morgan and I am going to be a first year teacher this coming August. I see the good in every child and it has always been my passion to teach children and watch them succeed.

The resources on my wishlist will not only create a comfortable classroom with a sense of community, but help me stay organized throughout my first year in the education field.

A carpet is the center of

a classroom community, allowing my students to come together and share our day and bond with one another. The flexible rocking seating, diversity posters, and ambient string lighting will also create a safe and comfortable space for students to gather and feel safe, represented and relaxed in their classroom. An organizational cart and cubbies will help me easily organize the curriculum focuses of each day and allow me to focus more of the school day on my students rather than locating plans. Party favors will provide me with a reward to give students to brighten their day! Cleaning items will ensure that my classroom is not only aesthetically organized and clean, but remains a sanitary space to learn. Art supplies, dry erase boards, headphones, and laminators will give my students the opportunity to learn using multiple and creative modes that work best for them. I recognize that each student has different needs, and I plan to cater to their learning styles in my classroom.

It will always be my goal to empower my students and help them love learning like I do. These resources will guide me in making a classroom my students will never forget and lead us to a memorable year. Thank you for your support and love for me on my new journey.
