Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year dual immersion teacher, I’m inspired every day by my 7th grade students. They are curious, hardworking, and committed to learning in both Spanish and English. Their determination and enthusiasm for bilingual learning truly motivate me to give them the best classroom experience possible.

The resources from this project will help create a more engaging and supportive environment for all learners.

Creating an organized and supportive classroom is essential to helping my students succeed. Tools like the Medimall 15 Drawers Rolling Storage Cart and a Paper Trimmer are more than just supplies, they’re key to keeping my classroom running smoothly. The storage cart allows me to organize materials for different subjects and learning groups, making it easy to access what I need and keep students on task. It helps create a structured environment where students can take responsibility for their learning.

The paper trimmer helps me quickly and safely prepare the many visual and hands-on materials my bilingual students need, like vocabulary cards, reading supports, and anchor charts in both languages. These tools make it easier to meet diverse learning needs, build language skills, and create engaging lessons. With the right supplies, I can focus on what matters most: supporting my students so they feel confident, capable, and ready to learn daily.
