Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first-year teacher, I haven’t met my students yet—but I’m already dreaming about the classroom community we’ll build together. I know they’ll come to school with unique personalities, talents, and needs, and I want to make sure they walk into a space that feels welcoming, safe, and made just for them.
The resources in this project, such as flexible seating, basic furniture, and classroom essentials, will help create an environment where students can feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.
Whether it's a cozy spot to read, organized supplies to reduce stress, or seating that helps them feel in control of their learning, each item will support their success from day one.
I may not know them yet, but I’m already working hard to create a space where they’ll feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
