My students must receive the best second grade year possible! Being a first year teacher can be kind of tricky; you're getting used to being on your own as well as adjusting to the needs of your students. I want my classroom environment to be educational, but I also want my students to feel welcome. I have thought about my experiences during student teaching whilst making this project. What did students need the most? Pencils. What was their classroom lacking? Fun. Where was the fun? Teaching is a very difficult field, but it is also the most rewarding and it should be broadcasted for the whole class to see! I want my students to see how much I take pride in being an educator and that I am excited to embark on this journey.
