First Year Special Education Teacher

Help me give my students sensory discs, a cozy rug, kitchen organization items, and cleaning supplies to create a calm, structured, and welcoming environment. My students need these resources to support them emotionally and academically.

My Project

I love how unique, resilient, and full of potential my special education students are. They each learn differently, making teaching them so rewarding. Sensory fidgets, rug and other items will create a calm, welcoming space where they can focus, feel safe, and engage in learning.

Organizational items for the kitchen and cleaning supplies support life skills and independence—key goals in our classroom.

These tools help students take ownership of their space and routines. My goal is to build confidence, support sensory needs, and encourage hands-on learning in a structured, nurturing environment.
