This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you to all who gave to the first start-up project! I kept the first ask small, but there are a few more items that will help us gear up for an incredible year of learning!
This project is focused on the everyday items, like crayons, binders, and communication buttons.
I am also asking for two gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers, a website where teachers share resources and lesson plans for a fee. TPT has been invaluable for me as a first-year teacher.
The materials that I am asking for are part of my effort to build up my supply of classroom materials for my first year teaching the life and job skills classroom curriculum for 18 to 21-year-olds. For the profoundly special needs population, this curriculum is singularly the most important education we can provide them. Help me give my students the quality education that they deserve!
