Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The rug will be used for our in-class library where students can sit on the rug and feel welcomed and comfortable while reading. It is important that children enjoy reading so having a comfortable and inviting space in the classroom is very important to keep them motivated. The books I chose to include in this wish list will help me create a strong and positive relationship with all my students to let them know they belong in the room, and we are a big community.

Anchor charts are very important for students learning and having those visual reminders around the room are important to me so the use of different markers will help me be able to do anchor charts.

It is also important to have extra supplies around the room because supplies do get damaged and lost throughout the school year and I always want to be prepared for that.
