Hello! I am beginning my first official year teaching, and I will be in kindergarten. I have been able to collect materials throughout my time in college, but I still need some help to get going on my own. With the items on my list, I feel that I will be able to begin my first year of teaching smoothly, and my students will be set up for success. I have included some functional items as well as fun items that will bring joy not only to me but my students.
The whiteboards allow for my students to practice their handwriting and spelling words during phonics.
Students use their iPads on apps and websites that meet them at their level. Headphones will allow for them to focus and these headphones will be able to last a long time. The vegetable set will allow students to practice social skills in a place setting as well as teach them about the importance of eating clean. The other items such as crayons, anchor chart paper, and markers will allow me to continue to have supplies readily available.
