My Project
AVID is a college and career readiness class designed to give students opportunities they may not have without it, as well as skills to be successful in high school, college, and the global community. The AVID binder is a major organizational tool for those students to be successful in all of their classes and learn how to stay organized in their lives. It is also a graded part of the AVID curriculum. Most of my students are low income and I want to give them all the best chance of success for their introduction to this important life skill and help them not feel pressured financially to purchase a binder and organization materials.
