Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will benefit from being able to have a less cluttered classroom space and a welcoming atmosphere. The globes will be used to help our students make connections between the diverse stories they'll be reading and our global community. The fan will keep students cool in the summer, without making too much noise. The pencil cases will be for materials for the students for daily activities. The laminator will laminate anchor charts and other materials so that they last (as well as student work). The clicker makes curating the lesson a lot easier and gives me full mobility as a teacher. The rest of the materials are for organization and necessity.

This may be my first year as a lead teacher, but these items are chosen with the intention of making the class an intuitive and welcoming place.

Our students will be studying history along with their English language arts curriculum. These tools will help me create various, durable activities and access the whole room with ease.
