First-time Teacher! Help Make My History Classroom an Inspired One!

Help me give my students a classroom that inspires them to delve into history! I also believe an organized classroom is an inspired one, hence the inclusion of cubies.

My Project

My school has children from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. I want every student to feel included, inspired and challenged when they enter my classroom. I have picked out fun and exciting classroom decorations that show off world history, such as borders, wall art, and important facts to know about the study of history.

I also know that learning cannot happen in a disorganized classroom, which is why I have included many types of organizational items such as cubbies, paper baskets, a rolling cart to allow me to walk around the classroom with the needed supplies and a wall calendar to list all due dates (as a back up to the online class calendar).

Another goal for my classroom is to ensure all cultures are represented all the time and to see how so many influential individuals made their mark on the world.

I adore history and want to pass that to my students, hence why I want my classroom to be fun, educational, and a place of inclusion. I want to celebrate every culture, to let them know that they are valued, seen, heard, and respected.
