My Project

I am starting my classroom from scratch, because I am a first year teacher! It literally feels as if I am shopping for a new home. Looking at the best of the best materials and supplies that make a student feel welcomed! These items are often the forgotten ones. But since I have nothing yet, each of these items will start my teaching journey.

My goal is to create a space where every student can feel welcomed and safe to learn.

The motivational posters, rug, faux plants, LED lights, seating options and magnetic shelves are things to make a classroom feel cozy and appealing to the eye. But basic essentials like the laminator is what every teacher needs. This keeps print outs safe for years to come. And I think most importantly, I am a computer science teacher, so the headphones are a must. Not every student can afford headphones unfortunately.
