This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking for help to create my FIRST ever 4th grade classroom to last for many YEARS to come. My students are special because they are primarily from low socio-economic status families, and it is my goal not to ask families for a wishlist or donations. My goal is to also always have snacks on hand for students in need.

Please help me have the tools and resources to provide multi-sensory instructional lessons-such as visual anchor charts for lessons, white boards and markers for practicing math and spelling skills, a small area rug for creating a calming and inviting library space, zipper pouches to teach organizational skills and to create just right intervention tool kits, a digital clock to help students with time management skills, basic needs like an electric pencil sharpener for everyday use, a rolling cart to use for my small group and intervention tools, etc... Help me provide classroom decor to create a calm and inviting environment as their second home away from home.
