My Project

As I transition from my role as an academic intervention teacher to leading my own 4th grade classroom, I'm starting completely from scratch to create a learning environment where my students can thrive. After years of working one-on-one with struggling learners, I understand firsthand how the right tools and materials can transform a child's educational experience. These essential classroom supplies will provide the foundation my students need to engage actively in their learning, from basic writing materials and organizational tools to hands-on manipulatives that make abstract concepts concrete and accessible.

Every single one of my students deserves access to the same quality education as their peers in more affluent districts.

Our rural school serves a community where many families face significant economic challenges, and too often our children go without the basic supplies that other students take for granted. When students have reliable access to pencils, paper, books, and learning materials, they can focus on what matters most: discovering their potential and building confidence in their abilities. These supplies will eliminate barriers that poverty creates and ensure that every child in my classroom has an equal opportunity to succeed.

My goal is simple but powerful: to create a classroom where every 4th grader feels prepared, supported, and excited to learn. With your help, these materials will transform empty shelves into organized learning stations, provide each student with their own set of supplies, and give me the tools I need to differentiate instruction for learners at every level. Together, we can show these incredible children that their education matters and that their community believes in their bright futures.
