My Students
Do you remember raising your hand quietly for your teacher to call on you so you can write the correct answer on the white board? Well, my students do that everyday and I want to give every one of them a chance to write on their white boards.
I am a first grade teacher in a Title I school.
There are 24 wonderful students in my classroom. They are kind and eager to learn. They love when they get a chance to write on my white board. But since we have so much to learn and not enough time, only a couple students get a chance to come up to the white board and write. It's hard to see the disappointing faces of students who do not get chosen so I want to give everyone in my classroom their own white boards to write on!
My Project
Our class needs a set of white boards and markers. These materials will be used to help our students in writing. Students will continue to practice their penmanship, high frequency words, grammar, and spelling on their own white boards. We will also be using these materials in other subject areas, such as Math and Korean. We will be using these white boards during whole group and small group instructions.
As a teacher, I believe it is my responsibility to make learning fun for my students.
I want my students to be excited and motivated to learn when they come into my classroom. In order to do that, I need your help to provide the materials that they need. Thank you for your on-going support and we appreciate all of your help.
