First Graders Want To Learn About Coins!

My Project

Every morning, my first graders count up how many days we have been in school. I have started to show them different ways to represent that number using coins. I would love more sets of coins so we can make even more combinations. I would love for my students to leave first grade with a firm grasp of how much quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies are worth. I am thrilled at being able to give them early exposure to financial literacy.
