Help me give my students the supplies and snacks they need for their brains to grow! Their families depend on the school to provide what they need and I need your help!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 1st graders who LOVE school. They are full of energy and excitement to learn. But they come from very challenging home lives, the majority coming from low income families. At the beginning of the year, about half of them were able to bring school supplies. Half way through the year and we’re just about out of many supplies. We share what we have but now need help! We are also in need of snacks, as many students depend on the food provided by the school, not able to bring a snack from home.
My Project
My students are in need of more school supplies and snacks! About half of them were able to bring supplies in the beginning of the school year, which we’ve shared as a class since August but we’re now running out and need donations. We need basic school supplies so our little learners have the resources they need to do their best learning! The supplies will be used solely by the students and the snacks will be for those who are not able to bring a snack from home! Help me help my students and provide a classroom ready for learning!
