My Project
My first graders love our daily vote. We vote between two different things, we figure out how many people voted for each thing, the difference between the two vote totals, and we talk about which one has the greater amount. I laminate the votes so I can use them for future classes. I also laminate charts for each student such as sound charts and combinations of ten charts. Unfortunately, my laminator is in its last legs and I have to stand there holding down a lever instead of being able to walk away and do other things while the sheet is laminating. Every spare moment counts when I am preparing materials! We need a new laminator! We could also use more tissues, markers, and copy paper.
