First Graders Learn Economics with Technology

My students need the laptop to study and see how economics is important in their lives.

My Students

My students are hard workers that love to learn. Most of their learning are from books with the teacher modeling the learning. Much of their learning is student based with very little technology incorporated in the learning.

My students are the most eager to learn students that I have ever taught.

They enjoy learning new things. They attend a Title I school that emphasize learning and personal worth. Many of them come from home with no or very limited technology. They do spend 40 minutes twice a week in the computer lab were their math and literacy skills are enhanced.

My Project

My students need the laptop. My students will use the laptop to get an up close look at how economics work. They will do class activities to promote an understanding of economics. The laptop will show them ways to save at a young age and let them view other young children saving. The laptop will give my students another opportunity to use technology in their daily studies.

By funding this project, you will give my young students a chance to study and understand economics at a young age.

They will learn how to save at a young age and help their family save by learning how they can contribute to the saving of energy in the home.
