This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The best part about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) supplies is that students don't even know what they're learning when they play with them. This makes STEM supplies ideal for some of our littlest learners - first graders! For the 2024-2025 school year, I want to implement STEM bins into the morning routine in my first grade classroom or for fun Friday. Each morning, students will come in and start exploring STEM supplies to start their day. This will help start the day with fun, low-pressure learning.

Help me give my first graders a fun school year with STEM supplies.

Some of the STEM supplies included in my list are Magna Tiles, Brain Flakes, Legos, connecting straws, and more. With your help, I am eager to see my students create amazing things with these supplies. I have also included some storage bins to store these STEM supplies.
