This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have an insatiable excitement for learning about the natural world. Whenever I can, I try to provide them with cross-curricular materials that allow them to hone their reading and math skills while exploring the science topics that spark their joy in learning. Waseca Biomes materials are the gold standard of such materials. The materials are beautifully crafted and align with the Waseca reading program that my school already implements. This allows students of all reading levels opportunities to explore non-fiction books that are decodable with the phonics skills they have already mastered or are currently practicing. Thank you for considering supporting my classroom. I know my students would absolutely love having these materials to work with.
