Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of minds to think."

This project will help students work hard and learn.

They are going to be motivated and excited to learn with all the items requested in this project.

I have requested a 3D printer and filament to allow my students to design and create 3D images. This is resource will expand my students' knowledge and experiences by witnessing advanced technology and watching their creations come alive. I have also requested other STEM items such as Magnetic tiles for students to create design in 2D and 3D. Students will use the air dry clay to make 3D figures. These resources will help them with geometry in math and giving them hands on experiences to expand their mind and thinking.

I have also requested snacks and prizes to motivate my students to learn and reward them for their hard work. They will enjoy the chips while working and they will love having stickers to decorate their writing journals and squishy pets to comfort them at their tables. Students will also be creating friendship bracelets with the requested materials.

The pens and laminating sheets will help me create center activities for my students to work on their phonics and math skills.

This project will have a direct and positive benefit on all of my First Grade students. Thank you so much!
