Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

This is a first grade class seated in one of the worst neighborhoods in Philadelphia.

The students are not able to purchase the subscription on their own and the district has limited funds. The students are in need of news from all around.

The students need these magazines to stay alert on what is going on besides in their neighborhood. They have such limited boundaries and are so excited to learn about other places even if it is only through reading.

You will make it possible for my students to become intelligent political beings with an understanding of places outside of their "block."
