This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are wonders. They come into my classroom as barely readers, barely counters, but after our time together, they are readers, writers, critical thinkers, mathematicians, and number masters. These supplies will allow my students to participate in a variety of activities, helping not only with academics but also to practice fine motor skills. We will be able to work on shared writing activities with the markers and chart paper. We can use the colors of the world crayons to help incorporate diversity and make students feel valued and seen.
