Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a dedicated first-grade teacher. Our school serves 100% low-income families, and my students are bright, eager learners who thrive when given the right tools to succeed.
I am reaching out to you to help provide my students with Montessori wooden number blocks, a hands-on educational tool that will enhance their math skills through interactive learning.
These blocks will allow my students to develop number sense, practice counting, and strengthen their foundational math skills in a fun and meaningful way.
In addition to supporting our math curriculum, I am also seeking your help in securing a Bingo game for our classroom. During extreme weather conditions, we often have indoor recess, and having engaging, educational games will keep my students active and learning. This Bingo game is not only entertaining but also reinforces essential math concepts like number recognition and strategic thinking.
With your generous donation, you will be providing my students with opportunities to build their confidence, foster a love for learning, and enjoy moments of joy even on rainy days.
Thank you for considering our project and for believing in the power of education to change lives!
