This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to add fun, and engaging hands-on reading and writing centers to reinforce skills as well as to differentiate and strengthen their knowledge.
These centers and other phonics items will help my students to instantly recognize high-frequency words allowing them to read more smoothly and naturally, improving their reading pace and expression and fluency.
The learning centers will be used during our guided reading and intervention block. Students rotate through our centers each day. These different centers will give students a wide variety of learning opportunities to improve their fluency in English .
