First Grade Kindness Kits

Help me give my students the materials to make Kindness Kits to give back to the neediest members of our community. They will organize and put together kits for the homeless.

My Project

My first graders are passionate about giving back to our community. For our community service project we would like to end our school year by giving back. These materials will be used for our class to put together kits with care items for needy community members. The Talbot House Ministries will be gifted with these kindness kits to continue with their mission to help the homeless community of Polk County. This project will help my first graders learn compassion and the power of being thoughtful and kind. They will always remember giving back to the community and the impact they can have even at this age. The community service project will not only impact the lives of those outside of our school by the lives of our students.

The homeless community of Polk County will benefit from their project.

The students will organize the items and put the items in the kits. Their actions will serve the community by providing care items for the homeless community. The students will also make cards of kindness to put in the bags.
