Help me give my students the opportunity to show off their amazing writing and art projects, through the use of a color printer.

My Students
My students are English language learners who are eager to learn and explore the world around them. I teach at a Title I school in Brooklyn where all students receive free breakfast, lunch and basic school supplies.
Most of these students live in crowded apartments where they lack personal items, such as books, as well as personal space to work and read.
My hope is to build a classroom environment in which my students come to school each day excited to read. And that they read a variety of challenging and engaging books, in order to build their identities as readers.
My Project
In my classroom, students are encouraged to show what they know through whatever medium they feel most comfortable: writing, creating art projects or presentations. At the end of our Science and Social Studies Units, we celebrate with a museum or meet the authors celebration. My students' parents are not always able to attend these celebrations because of their strenuous work schedules, and it can be very disappointing for my students who work so hard.
My hope is that by allowing students to take home vivid, color copies of their hard work - whether it be pictures of their celebrations and art projects, or copies of their writing - they'll take pride in their learning.
