This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Be the change you want to see in the world," Mahatma Gandhi said, help first graders have a learning environment with useful resources that would be beneficial to their learning.

My students are first graders Spanish speakers and English only students that are striving to learn in a two language environment.

They are smart and eager to learn everyday. They attend a dual immersion program in Napa Valley, CA. They come from a variety of backgrounds as it makes them very diverse and unique.

My Project

This resources are basic supplies that will facilitate learning and encourage them to be active learners. This resources will help enhance every learning style in the classroom making learning accessible for them. The activities I will be able to do with this resources are many. The geometric shapes manipulative will be a visual to the understanding of different geometric figures. In addition, the white boards will help the students work on their math problems, sentences, and to express themselves kinesthetic and visually. Paint brushes will allow the students express themselves in art class when painting about symmetry, geometric shapes, etc. All this resources will be useful for school concepts that will be useful in the future grades.

This resources are critical to ensure their success.
