My Students
My students are coming to my classroom from a hectic Kindergarten year. The students are going to want to learn and want to be in school. For most of them this will be like coming to school again for the first time. My students come from a low income background so being in school is very important to them. This is going to be my very first year of teaching so I will be learning right along with my students. While I don't know if we will meet in the classroom or online, I am excited to get materials for them to have a great school year. I Will not physically meet the class in person until November but I hope to get as much supplies for the students as I can.
My Project
Thank you for taking the time to view our class project.
The materials I have chosen are materials that my students will use most often.
I have chosen to include Pencil Grips for my students to use for their classwork. The students will need to use Composition Notebooks for science and writing activities. My students will need Jumbo pencils to help them with writing. And because of the Global Pandemic I want to make sure I have supplies to keep the classroom clean. I want my students to have storage bags so they can put classroom materials in them.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
