This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Keep first graders engaged! I teach first grade in a K-8 school in a large city. My classroom is normally a buzz of activity with thirty students cheering each others' achievements in reading, writing, math, science and social studies.
My students amaze me every year as they become fluent readers and first grade mathematicians.
The color paper will help me differentiate resources that I print for them to play learning games. It will also help them find a permission slip quickly. The tissues are a basic need in a classroom. Teacherspayteachers has been a fantastic resource to locate resources, games and organizers for my first graders. These basic needs will not be available without your support.
