First Grade Art Masterpiece Drying Rack

My Students

My students range in age from 6 to 7 years old, with a variety of ability levels and learning styles. Our learners come from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and experiences. Having a safe, fun, and comfortable place to come and learn is of top priority for me as their teacher. Each and every day, my students enter the classroom ready to learn with big smiles on their faces. They are motivated to make each and every day a great day for themselves.

My Project

I would love to provide a safe place for my student's artwork to dry. Currently, artwork get placed on the floor throughout the room to dry and sometimes gets ruined after completing a painting project since we have limited counter top space. Help me stop any more first grader broken hearts! An art drying rack will help my student's artwork get treated like the masterpieces that they are. During cleanup time, the students would know where to place their work, and they would know that their in progress or finished art work would be safe until the next week when they return.
