Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of my goals for this new school year is to start building my classroom library. This is my first full year teaching in my own classroom. I am going to be doing "First Chapter Friday" with my students where each week I will read aloud the first chapter of a book before it makes it's grand arrival to join our classroom library!
My students currently do not have a way to "check out" any books in our classroom library and have to remember what book it was and where they were in the story.
I would like my students to each have their own book bin that they can use to store the book they are currently reading. The cube storage will be able to hold 2 students book bins per cube so that they are organized nicely in our classroom.
