This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These chapter book will help me foster a love of books and reading by exposing my students to different genres and topics in books. Every Friday I will read one or two chapters from a book to peak their interests. Students will then be able to borrow the books to continue reading themselves. These books will help my students improve their imagination, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and become better thinkers.
When children read regularly, they become better thinkers and more confident learners, which sets them up for success in school and life
