My Students
We are increasingly seeing more kids with medical needs at school or who need medical attention while at school. If our schools are adequately stocked on medical supplies, we can focus on keeping kids at school versus sending them home. COVID-19 has been a stressor on students and many of them have had to miss more school than usual impacting their learning. So if we can have medical supplies on hand to treat minor things, we can keep them at school more.
My Project
Having appropriate medical supplies at school will allow staff members to treat medical concerns at school and help keep students in school more versus sending them home. Students already are facing missing too much school over the recent pandemic so this is one-way schools can take care of students by keeping them in school to focus on their education. By rendering basic first aid, we can keep students safe and healthy at school, which keeps them more focused on their schooling and their attendance at school. Yay!
