My Students
I teach two classes of eager, dynamic, and diversified second graders at a Title I school located in a low socioeconomic area in Mississippi. Of the forty-one students, seven of them receive special educational resource services, four of them are in speech therapy, and one takes physical and occupational therapy. Several students walk to school from a nearby public housing apartment complex. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Even with all of the socioeconomic disadvantages, my students possess over comer attitudes and are willing to work to achieve success.
My Project
We are in an age where students are required to use technology. However, not all students are given that opportunity due to low socioeconomic backgrounds or lack of funding in public schools. Students deserve the opportunity to soar with the advancement of technology.
By donating to this project, you will afford students the opportunity to enhance their academic performance through the use of the Fire 7 Tablets and the headphones.
Students will be able to complete research-based lessons in a smaller setting in a technology center. These lessons will be set at the students' performance level in order to help them achieve greatness.
