My Students
My students are in need of 2 Kindle Fires with a protective cases to help enhance their understanding of concepts being taught at school. I am a Pre-K teacher of 18 students in a Title 1 school where funding is low. Not all students have the use of technology at home to allow them to learn through exploration. Because my school is Title 1, the availability of technology is limited, therefore this project will open up several opportunities for them.
My Project
My goal is to provide the opportunity for my students to explore, have fun, and learn at the same time. We focus on so many concepts such as letters and numbers recognition, letter and beginning sounds, rhyming words, numbers, shapes, and colors. I would for my students to enjoy coming to school and be active participants in the classroom. I would like to provide them with the opportunity to experience learning like they have never experienced before. I would like to reach each and every student's need.
The Kindles will allow each student to interact with technology and increase their knowledge on concepts that prepares them for Kindergarten.
