Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Despite being a Title I school and having a large population of low income, at-risk, and limited English proficient students, our school has managed to maintain itself among the highest performing schools in our large urban school district, and we consistently earn recognition for our accomplishments from the state.
My students are all hardworking, energetic and eager, and they come to class each day ready to learn about how to become better students.
They come to my class eager to learn, they are like sponges.
My Project
With the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet 2-Pack my students will be able to have access to many of the math and science apps and programs to increase their math and science proficiency. These tablets will give more students the opportunities to use these programs since we are limited to a couple of computers in our classroom.
Math and science go hand in hand together and my students enjoy learning about making connections across subjects.
With the addition of these tablets to our classroom, they will be able to easily use more of the applications and programs we use daily in a more efficient way.
