This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, my students are determined to finish strong. However, we are running low on some essential supplies that support both academic focus and a healthy learning environment. That’s why I’m asking for your help to provide Chromebook chargers, hand sanitizer, and pencils—items that may seem small, but make a huge difference in our daily success.
My students rely heavily on Chromebooks for research, writing assignments, and interactive learning.
Unfortunately, many of our chargers have been lost or broken over time, and students are struggling to keep their devices powered throughout the day. Having extra Chromebook chargers in the classroom will ensure students stay connected and engaged without disruption.
Hand sanitizer is another key classroom necessity. With students sharing supplies and working in groups, it's important that we maintain a clean and healthy space to help minimize the spread of germs—especially during cold and allergy seasons.
Lastly, pencils are a basic but essential tool for learning. Whether students are completing science labs, sketching diagrams, or solving math problems, they need reliable writing tools. Right now, we’re down to just a few stubby pencils, and it's becoming harder for students to participate fully in class.
