My Project
After having the initial version of this project fully funded, I figured why not go the distance. I have the luxury of educating a phenomenally diverse group of readers, and I believe that they deserve an environment that will motivate them to read, while simultaneously providing them with enough comfort that it fosters an atmosphere to willingly tackle the task of literacy.
Creating a space where my amazing kids can work constructively toward their goals is key.
I am requesting fluorescent light covers and LED lighting, coupled with the floor seating, which will help provide my students with a comfortable atmosphere to foster learning for the bright array of neuro-divergence that I am blessed with each year.
A few necessities and comforts have also been peppered in to help me, the teacher, efficiently accommodate the children better. These things include a higher seated chair for instruction and class presentation, a battery, and a mousepad.
