My Students

My students come to school with little confidence and even less support. I want them to know that I’ll always support them and that I believe in their potential! Keeping learning interesting for them is vital for them to keep up and keep on! I supply a lot of materials for my students- most of the time without even questioning what they have or don’t have themselves. That can be a bit much sometimes. If this board were donated, it could make an enormous impact on participation.

My Project

My students LOVE using whiteboards and markers to learn and practice skills. I do not have a mobile whiteboard that I can use in our rotations. Usually they have to come to the front of the room and that can be distracting for others. If I had a mobile board, I could change the location of my center and not distract others. I can also turn it in a way that my group isn’t facing anyone else. Having these supplies would excite them and excitement is imperative for fifth graders!

Graph paper also helps some of my students organize themselves better.
