My Students
My students come from an impoverished section of West Charlotte. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch, and many don't know where their next meal is coming from when they go home.
Our school and the athletic program is an escape for the students to forget about their daily challenges they may face at home and in the neighborhood.
My students are incredibly gifted students and athletes that need the opportunity to shine. This opportunity can be a life changing experience for all who are involved.
My Project
The trainer and soccer balls will allow my team to work on finishing at the goal. The trainer specifically, it will be allow to practice in game shots regularly, which will improve our shooting and scoring during the games this season! My students athletes do not have access to soccer equipment at home. Soccer balls will allow for us to give a one to one ratio while training during soccer practice and the possibility to loan the soccer balls for the student athletes to work on their skills at home.
