Most of my student athletes come from a background where college is just a word. Running track has been not only therapeutic, but a safe haven and a future most of them never knew they wanted or can achieve. We finished with the silver medal boys 4x4 100 relay team with make-shift uniforms I purchased while most of them ran in Jordan basketball sneakers.
